I hope I'm not being overly intrusive.
I sometimes really am, when I am open and active in talking. People could get a bit tired.
I can never understand something -- of course, I understand it, but, on the other hand, I don't. It's wnen people politely listen to you, they do not tell you to stop or that they're tired of you. I know that if they really tell this to you you feel even more offended and hurt. (There were times when I asked the people to tell me forthright -- these were quite painful moments, later, however, they worked out for the better. There were other moments, too, when people had not informed me of what they did not like, when I realize, I said 'Why didn't you let me know?')
But if looked at from a different angle, you are kept in the dark this way -- you do not know whether you are welcome or not. You can guess in real life communication, in online communication you can't know the reaction at all.
I'll add one more thing here now. In reference to online contacts in particular, I think one should express express his attitudes, because if not shown how can it be guessed?

This is really strange, who said that you were intrusive? You never seemed intrusive to me, quite the contrary, I think you can express yourself in very few words.

Intrusive, probably to some, when I throw a lot of words on people inviting for discussion or sharing my thoughts -- not all are ready to percieve it and recieve it, when i'm too active or persistent I may be intrusive. :)
I think you're talkative and open yourself. ;) That's why you don't find me intrusive (or imposing). :) :) :)
I wish I were so talkactive in real life. When there's a party or a meeting where people talk I often don't know what to say or how to begin. In fact, people think of me as a very quiet person. When you talk online everything's different: you have time to think about what you want to say, you don't see the others and the others don't see you. I can be silly and funny at home, but there are many people who can be like that in public.
