Claflin surname origin
Sam Claflin is a British actor who became famous after starring in the "Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides" (2011). The next noticeable role was in the "Snow White and the Huntsman" (2012).
What does surname Claflin mean? What is the probable origin?
All I managed to find is this:
"Claflin Meaning: the son of Flaitheamb (ruler; lord)." It corresponsd with the role of the Prince doesn't it? He has the kind of appearance suggestive of a positive character.
The other piece is this of information is this http://www.ancestry.com.au/name-origin?surname=claflin, which doesn't quite fit, since the actor is no Irish.

Adriana Tarábková in 'Dievča'
Adriana Tarábková is famous for her role in the fairy tale 'King Blackbird/(Thrushbeard)' (("Kráľ Drozdia brada" 1984) directed by Miloslav Luther. Some sources say that the director saw her photo in the "Dievča" sewing fashion magazine. However there has not been anything on the net so far to prove that Adriana was featured in the 1984 magazine and before. But there are her photos in some later than 1984 issues, for example http://www.antikvariat-5d.cz/itemdetail.aspx?iid=978140 1986 03, Dievča časopis.
I've recently bought a 1 1985 issue from http://www.ms77.ru/ with a few photos of her. Perhaps she modelled not before but after the film had been released (?).
Here are the pics.
By the way, there is a Miroslav Luther website, and there is a sort of trailer with the original in Czech (or Slovak?) (not in German) -- it would be good to have a full video like that. http://www.miloslavluther.sk/?categ=dlhometrazne_filmy&page=kral_drozdia_brada As well there are some good quality images at the bottom of the page.

About 'Fantaghiro' briefly
I first saw this fairy tale or fantasy film when I was a teenager -- it was on TV, it was very popular making a hit in many countries. Then I rewatched about a year ago.
The first film is 'irrepetibile", like Italians say.
The second and third -- I don't like what they did to the part of Romualdo. Film 5 is a miss, I don't like it.
Parts 3,4 are not about Fantaghiro and Romualdo, they're another story, with the inroduction of Tarabas.
All in all though there are things to criticize, the stories are emotional and vivid.

'A Sunny Disposish' (lyrics + authors)
It was not sp easy to find the lyric. Thanks to http://laurie-ru.livejournal.com/351730.html , where there are more links to different videos and audios of the song.
Hugh Laurie sings this song in 'Jeeves & Wooster' film. 'A song with a spot of pholosophy'.
Ira Gershwin is George Gershwin's older brother.
In this song there's a play on words -- the endings are omitted and contracted to 'sh': disposition and delicious. A sunny disposish (mood) will always help.

A Sunny Disposish (1926)

Any time you hear the thunder rumble down
Don't let her tumble down
Or castles crumble down
If the blues appear just make
the best of them
Just make a jest of them
Don't be possessed of them
At the risk of sounding rather platitudinous
Here's what I believe should be
the attitude in us
A sunny disposish will always see you
through
When up above the skies are grey,
'stead of being blue
Mr. Trouble always makes our faces long
But a smile will have him saying
"so long"
It really doesn't pay to be a gloomy pill-
It's absolutely most ridic.,
positively sill. –
The rain may pitter patter,
It really doesn't matter;
For life can be delish.
With a sunny disposish.
Must confess I like your way
of viewing it
No use in ruing it
When gloom is bluing it
Taking your advice the sad
and weary all
Have no material
To be funereal
Don't let her tumble down
Or castles crumble down
If the blues appear just make
the best of them
Just make a jest of them
Don't be possessed of them
At the risk of sounding rather platitudinous

I've recently started a new blog on natural haircare, devoted to washing and grooming hair with natural products. http://naturehaircare.blogspot.ru/ I also would like to create one about sewing.
Now I'm interested to use GoogleAdsense -- this blog is the old one, so hopefully the program will switch here to begin with.

Nicholas Rogers (Tarabas) 'Pop Rocky' article transcription
Here is my transcription of the article in German about Nicholas Rogers (Pop Rocky).
(As for the translation of the article into Russian, it's here http://liza-di-grazia.livejournal.com/188847.html#cut: first I did it with the Abbyy Lingvo online dictionary, then I gave it to my bilingual friend to help and check.) The text is as follows:

"Geheimnisvolle
6 Marz 1969 in Sydney/Australien.
sondern habe beschlossen, ins
voraussichtlich Weihnachten 1998 gezeigt.”

Was wird
